Description
Creating original prints from his studio in south-west Scotland, artist Colin Blanchard has produced a portfolio of bird-themed work using a variety of techniques. Multi-block and reduction linocuts, screenprints and combination methods are enhanced with poetry, embossing and gilding – resulting in a striking and varied selection of avian art. This new book reproduces the bulk of his bird prints (with accompanying text) and provides an illustrated guide to his processes. In addition, either a linocut or screenprint of a Mallard is included with every copy of this limited edition. The prints were created specifically for this project. Deliveries of the book will begin around 25 November 2026.
