Description
Peter Partington died in 2025, leaving a studio crammed with art and a legacy of paintings, etchings and sculpture that brightened the lives of many. His son Jerome has curated carefully a selection of pieces that reflect Peter’s versatility, restless imagination and commitment to conservation. Anecdotes and tributes are provided by friends, family and admirers, while Jerome sheds light on Peter’s formative years as an artist. This 144-page softback book barely scrapes the surface of a lifetime of constant creativity, but provides a snapshot of subjects and techniques. Each copy of this numbered, imited edition is accompanied by a piece of artwork from the studio, and a share of book sales proceeds is destined for art and/or nature charities with the emphasis on enabling the younger generation to gain greater awareness of conservation issues. The artwork supplied will be entirely random, from a selection of etchings, sketches and other small pieces obtained from Peter’s Lavenham studio. Please note that we cannot accept orders for specific book numbers or specific artwork.
